A great team spent an evening lovingly turning oranges, silver foil and candles into something rather special – a Christingle.
A great community came to find out more about the birth of Jesus.

Christmas eve is a special time, especially for the younger members of the family who can barely contain their excitement. The early evening Christmas Eve Christingle Service helps them remember the original cause for their excitement.
There will be a tableau of the crib scene, child friendly carols, candle lit christingles in a darkened church and a small farewell gift. All ages are welcome. Come early to get a seat as this service is always very popular, even with three services to choose from!
Time: December 24th @ 2.30pm, 4pm and 5.30pm on
St. Paul's Church,
Surrey GU15 2AD
Come along, you’ll be made very welcome.

Time to get into the full swing of Christmas. If the thought of attending a church this season puts you off, how about popping into Park Street for a festive ‘sing song’ and drinks? If you came to Beer & Hymns at the Bear in March, then you'll have a flavour for what's in store.
The friendly bunch at St Paul’s will start the festive cheer at the Bear pub, 23 Park Street, Camberley GU15 3PQ on Thu 19th Dec from 7:45pm. Come and grab a drink, and join in the fun. They’re a lively bunch, so I’m sure it will be a great night out. Time to let your hair down after all that shopping, wrapping and busy preparations.

A brass band really make Christmas don’t they. There’s something special about those instruments we associate with Christmas. Sandhurst Silver Band have been performing annually at St Paul’s for several years, and they are a real highlight.
In 2011 I interviewed Musical Director, Ian McElligott about the band, which is worth checking out.

Set in a beautiful candle lit church, the retelling of the Christmas story through bible reading, carols and music of a variety of styles blends both the traditional and the modern. Held on Sunday December 15th at 6pm. This is a time for thought and reflection on the richness of what we experience. Stay on afterwards for mulled wine and light refreshments. This service is intended more for adults and older children.

Take a look at last year for more details on any of the services.
Anyone is very welcome to attend. If you don’t normally attend a church, you’ll find St Paul’s warm, friendly, and very Christmassy.

Shoe Box Mountain
One of the organisers, Jacqui Tatley said “WOW, what a fabulous response to our shoebox appeal, 170 boxes collected. BRILLIANT. Thanks to Shirley Powell and Jenny Banks for organizing it all. 170 children will have something to delight in. Praise the Lord.”. Crawley Ridge School joined forces with St Paul’s, resulting in the ‘shoe box mountain’, as Rev Russ coined it on twitter.
