One of the volunteer helpers, Janet Perrott said: “We wanted to give people a chance to experience a holiday atmosphere, who might not otherwise get out of Camberley. I think we made their day, and I’m sure they will be talking about it for some time to come. On behalf of all the attendees, I’d like to thank the volunteers who helped make this such a special holiday at home”.
Flags and bunting created a holiday atmosphere. The holiday makers were treated to a delicious 2 course home cooked meal, joined by staff Russ Gant, Claire Isherwood and Sandra Higgins.

They all had a great afternoon relaxing, playing Scrabble or Rummikub, indulging in a pampering hand massage or nail treatment, or simply chatting to new friends. Tea and a scrumptious selection of homemade cakes rounded off the afternoon, before the holiday makers set off home.
